Lacrosse Association Junior B Re-Alignment October 27, 2002
With the addition of Windsor, London, and Niagara on the Lake to the league, a re-alignment was required to balance the schedule. For the 2003 season the league will again be divided into the Ontario West and Ontario East Conferences. Each conference will have three divisions. The Western Conference will have the Far West Division, Mid West Division and South West Division. The Eastern Conference will have the Far East Division, Mid East Division and South East Division. The regular season starts the week of April 20 and will conclude on July 5th. The playoffs will start on July 6th and will feature the top team in each division being seeded 1,2,3, the second place teams plus the next 2 best with conference would be seated 4-8 based on points. Team 1vs8, 2vs7, 3vs6, 4vs5 will be a best of 5. After first round the teams will be ranked based on points. The Eastern Conference champs will play the Western Conference champs for the right to advance to the founders Cup Championship which will be in Port Coquitlam, B.C. the week of August 25th.
The 2003 regular season will be 20 games. Windsor AKO Fratmen will host the London Blue Devils twice, Sarnia Pacers twice, Wallaceburg Red Devils, Elora Mohawks, Guelph Regals, Orangeville Northmen, Owen Sound Flying Dutchmen, and Mimico Mountaineers. The Fratmen will travel to London twice, Wallaceburg twice, Sarnia, Niagara on the Lake, Welland, Six Nations, Spartan and Milton. The complete schedule including dates, time and location will be released on February 3rd. Congratulations
